AP Pocket holsters

Has anyone tried one of these. I'm looking for something similar to my kramer. I really need it to stay open in my pocket. Please save the Mica sugestions.

Those don't look like they're at all similar to a Kramer.

I'm also a bit dubious of the quality of the stitching. While I appreciate what the guy seems to be about, I think he's still trying to get it all right. His stitch lines don't look straight, and the stitches themselves look lumpy.

All that said, I've got an RKBA holster (http://www.rkbaleather.com) that I'm generally pleased with. It was pretty inexpensive, was well made, and might fit the bill for you.

Mine will stay open in my pocket as long as it's a baggy pocket and not a tight pair of jeans. That is, the mouth is not reinforced, so it's the inherent stiffness of the leather and the molding that keeps it wide open.

I have a couple comments.

It doesn't seem like there's enough room around the gun's grip to get a full firing grip on the gun before pulling it part way out of the holster to begin with. You shouldn't have to shift your grip once you draw. For an inexpensive pocket holster, well, it could be better designed for no more cost.

Agreed, but as long as it works and the stitches stay put, it doesn't really matter. One thing I am skeptical of is the need to hold a pocket pistol in a forward cant.

While I don't care for some aspects of its design, the High Noon Pocket Grabber definitely will stay open while in your pocket.
