Apex Forward Set Sear for M&P - experience?

I put it in last weekend and will be taking it to it's first IDPA match tomorrow.

My M&P9 had a crunchy takeup and a definite hitch just before letoff. When I was hurrying at it's first match, I was jerking head shots out of the box...I had oriinally planned to shoot a couple of matches before making the change. The trigger was so difficult that it was shooting 2-3" groups (5 shots) at 7 yards. After the install, the groups were < 1" (about dime sized; 17mm)

The first thing you notice after the install is how much the pre/post-travel have been reduced. Plus it has a much cleaner takeup and a nice rolling letoff that allows me to prep the trigger after reset.

The installation would have likely been easier if I hadn't done it on a table at the range, hadn't kept dropping parts, hadn't tried to install parts upside down and had been able to watch the video. There wasn't any WiFi at the range, but I looked at the video the previous night. After assembly, I found that I had only left out one part...and that was the filler for the thumb safety...so I was pretty happy
