You weren't rolling with a Deagle so you ain't tactical. You also left out that you didn't have your bowie knife/multi-tool while wearing 100% 5.11 gear, including underwear!

But, I say you handled the situation well, even though, personally, I would have left. I don't go to fast food places late at night to start with. Its not because of bums, its just due to mostly everyone being drunk coming home from the bars wanting 'fourth meal.'

I think you did good. As others stated leaving would have saved you an awkward conversation with the transient.

When you entered the parking lot at Tbell did you notice many cars parked? Was anyone in them?

On the way to your vehicle how many cars were in the parking lot still?

For the most part individuals like this are pretty harmless. I would say watch out for a second or third moocher in the parking lot as from what I have seen they travel in groups of 2 or 3.

I have been working on trying to remember things like you when i go places so I can "try" and improve my perception and understanding of things going on around me.
