Appleseed Shoot in Yakima, WA

Folks, if you shoot a rifle: you need to go to Appleseed. They will teach you so much in one/two days that you will go home and want to go to the range and practice more and more to qualify on the Army Qualification Test (AQT).

I shot a 164 the first day and then 128 the next and I needed a 210. Darn you lack of ability! But the progress I made between my opening shoot and the final shoot of the day was night/day. Standing groups 1rst: 6/10 on paper. Last group: 10/10 2" group.

For any of you that went there: I'm Sam and yes my girlfriend did outshoot me without a sling, and that's why she is awesome!

Now I need to order some GI web slings... need loop sling so bad!

Thanks for coming out! You are right about the Appleseed program it will teach a lot in 2 days. The slings are pretty easy to get at gun shows, but here's a thread on the Appleseed forum that discusses several sources:
