had to have one, so i got one - new vaquero in 45 colt, 5 1/2 inch bbl.
got it in spite of having read about the mottled finish on the frame not
being durable; i'm just not particularly fond of glinty (stainless steel) guns.
gun feels nice, points nice, but sure enough after five days there is rust
on the frame. i mostly think of guns as tools, not as show pieces, and
don't get all exercised about normal wear - but i dont like rust.
i suppose i'll get some fine steel wool, buff the frame down, and treat it
with do-it-yrself bluing.
any better ideas?
