I have had such good results with duracoat thought I would share.
I am lucky enough to have bought my son a airbrush a few years back he only used a few times and took really nice care of it. Think I paid $350 for it with the compresser little compresser. Now I do EVERYTHING myself. so went on line did a lil research ordered the paint reducer and cleaner. Had two oldddd rifles metal was trashed spent some time cleaning sanding steel wooling one of the rifles had some bad pitting. Once I was sure I got all the rust out filled with autobody filler preped and painted. The finish is as good as any new rifle not one flaw run just perfect. I used H&K black. The small 8oz I think covered both and looks like enough for one more.
I really would like to do bluing and have it comes out o.k. this came out perfect for paint have had both the rifles out three times put about 200 rounds through each and has held up very well was worried about the filler on the top of the barrel of a 30-06 still looks perfect.
Sorry no pic
Duracoat gets five stars.

I use the Duracoat and Gunkote. Flat Black and OD Green. They always come out nice.
As far as bluing goes I recently used Mark Lee Gun Blue from Brownell's. It's by far the best I have found for the DIY shop. It requires boiling after each application. The finish comes out a dark rich black color.

I also did some Duracoat on some old shotguns. I only wish my oven was big enough to fit them. They have about 5 coats of Uzi Green. It looks good but I have noticed a few scratches over time.
