Aquarium tubing for caps

Personally, I'm planning on swapping out the nipples of my 5 Remmy cylinders to those Track of the Wolf replacements just so I don't have to put the 'cap-retainers' on or deal with caps falling of my nipples (chainfires either). Have to switch from Remington to CCI # 11 caps though (small price for 2 pitas gone)!

Noticed that the cap retainers above worked, held the cap fragments on long after they should have been gone, necessitating then having to remove the fragments!

One advantage of thicker caps and/or using the tubing would be apparent to those who shoot Walkers, Dragoons or Colt pockets. There is no relief cut in the upper right frame on the big revolvers(like there is in a 51 Navy for instance). I've had a number of spent caps wedge between the cylinder and upper right frame of Dragoons when cycling the next round that would probably not have tied up a Navy or 60 Army. The Colt Pocket Navies, Police and 49's do have the relief cut but it is much smaller and tolerences are very close. Fired caps that stayed on the nipples would benefit both the large and small frame Colts.
