I have a Armalite AR-10, an Armalite scope mount with a Nightforce 2.5x10-24 on it. I like the set up very much, but, it sits a little low. I really do not want to get a whole new mount but I need to raise it up just a tad.

Who makes or what kind of risor would you use?

Thanks

The Armalite base ring combo, I have sits so low that my cheek is too tight/low on the rifle, it would be better 1/4 or 1/2 inch higher. Just wondering if anyone makes a riser.

Thanks

Yankee Hill, Brownells and I'm sure others make a 3/8 riser that I have used on a couple guns. probably have different heights a s well but 3/8 has been about right for me. Can't say off hand what the ring height was though.
Think the risers are about $10 each.

Have you thought about the Burris PEPR mount? I have one on my AR-10 and really like it. They even make one now that has a quick release in case you want to switch it out easily.

Yes,
I have a PEPR on my 223-LWRC and do wish I would have got one for the AR-10 also. But I got the Armalite and it is just a tad too low.

Ive had great luck with an ARMS Swan sleeve. They include fold down rear sights or not. Mine has the rear sight that folds down flush with the riser.
