Armalite AR-10 Question

For sometime I have noticed that some models of the Armalite AR-10 are equipped with a bayonet lug.

Can one actually mount a standard M-7 or M-9 bayonet on the AR-10 or is the A-2 style flash hider too large to work with the bayonet's ring mount?

I assume the AR-10's flash hider is a bit larger for the .308 Winchester round than the normal 22mm flash hider used on the AR-15 chambered for the .223 Remington.

Yes. The OD of the flashhider is the same.

Does anyone have an AR-10 and a bayonet?

Can anyone mount a bayonet onto an AR-10, take a photograph, and display it in this thread?
