AR-10 vs. SR25

Howdy boyz!
Perhaps someone will know this.
Why won't SR25/M110 type rifle magazines work in a Armalite AR-10?
I'd like to get some of the PMags for my Noveske N6 but Magpul said they won't work.
What say ya'll?

Magpul is correct - their magazines won't work in any rifle designed around the Armalite magazine pattern. The Armalite magazines are modified M1A/M14 magazines (which had real value, a decade ago or greater)and the DPMS/SR25 pattern are simply different.
