AR-10s do they work or not?

My Armalite AR-10 Carbine has been flawless except with the 30 rounders (they are low-quality M1A mags, converted; the metal is flimsy and the lips flex too much with more than ~18 rounds in them.) With factory 10 and 20 round mags, it'll feed anything that fits in the mag (Max. COAL for heavier bullets may be too long.).

I use both commercial .308 and decent 7.62 NATO (don't like the idea of crummy, possibly corrosive stuff from half way around the world in a $1,500 rifle). From 110 grain V-Max's to 162 grain A-P to 180 grain BTSP's, it will eat it.

IMO, Armalite is the way to go. With so many other AR-15 makers out there at lower prices, Armalite has focused on the AR-10 (and AR-50).
