AR-15 7.62x39 magazines

Anyone know where to get them in a brand that works? I found one 20rd that works but the company is sold out of them. I tried two from CDNN and they didn't work, sent them back.

I "heard" that you can take an .223 mag and put on a AK-47 spring and follower and those seem to work but I haven't tried. With the price of .223 and AK mags, I think that it may be worth a try but has anyone here tried it?

I have the .223 upper for it so I do have standard cap. mags for the .223 but I wanted to get a couple of (would it be tech. hi-cap mags since Colt didn't make any over 10rds?) mags for the more powerful 7.62.

Original Colt 20 round magazines had a different follower, but used the same tube as the .223 magazines. Since you cannot buy the followers seperately you could purchase some 5 round Colt 7.62x39 mags and use the followers in some straight 20 rounders. I do not know if this will work in the new curved 20 round mags that some companies offer.
