If you're going to get all technical, jam is what you put on bread, machines malfunction

On that thread I meant it "seems like it is the 5 or 6 shot" meaning it may be the 4 or 7. No need in picking someone's words apart to make your self seem smarter. Any way, problem solved, sorry for the wild goose chase. The extractor spring was weak causing a failure to extract. Put a new spring in the gun functions flawlessly. Thanks everyone for the helpful hints, they will most-likely be helpful in the future. Thanks for the patience as well

Not to pick nits but...

Language is how humans communicate. A good grasp of the language of the land is essential if one wants to understand and be understood. Failure to communicate intelligently, right or wrong, conveys a failure to think intelligently.

When communicating about technical matters the issue becomes even more critical. If you go to your auto mechanic and say "I push the go-go pedal and it doesn't go", or even worse "the thingy over there is making a weird noise" you're not going to get very far. Same thing here.
