i am looking at a new upper for my ar, i am looking at a dpms 16" bull barrel. i want to put a can on the end but they do not come threads. other then getting it threaded what are my other options? why are bull barrels not threaded?

May I recommend the YHM solution. I'm liking their products more and more (just finished using mostly their parts on an upper 30 minutes ago ) and have attached a flash suppressor that fits their suppressor (getting Harris county to approve is a pain, even with help in the police dept, may have to do a trust). Here's a link to their suppressor, and it comes with the Quick Detach flash hider. I think it's my best option because I will use it on my brush AR and NV setup and still have the flash hiding capabilities. Just a suggestion from a few hours of my research.
