Anyone see advantages to this? Metallic feed lips which MAY hold up better, and cheaper price.

But, does the follower (MP) work as well in the GI mags?

Thanks.

Also, where is the best place to buy the whole kit? (Spring and follower).

Thanks.

Nah, I stuck with Pmags. As for where, Bravo Company if they are having a sale.. Or maybe AIM or .44Mag. Smart shopping and looking for specials helps.

All my mags are USGI-style which have had the follower replaced with the Magpul follower. All have worked 100% and no, I did not jump on the Pmag bandwagon

GI mags generally do not hold up better. The feed lips are easier to bend, and once bent back into shape, metal fatigue makes them less reliable from that point on. Metal magazines can also be dented which can foul up the follower or spring. GI mags can also rust, polymer cannot.
