hi guys it been a while (been fighting the cancer bug) anyway i have a chance to trade for this ar with my trade i wont have much in the gun,,, this is what he says it is....

I have a ar 15 if you have any interest. It is a Lar grizzly lower with od green butt stock and magpul moe plus of grip. The upper is bcm 20 inch barrel govt profile. Daniel defense chrome bolt carrier. Detachable carry handle/sight. The forward hand guard is od green also. I have had it for about a year and it is new never been fired, just a safe queen.

Lowers are pretty much lowers, as long as they're forged 7075-T6 and machined correctly. As stated, the remainder of the parts are at/above mid tier

LAR made a good copy of the Maadi Griffin 50 BMG bolt gun, actually an improved copy. As above, I have little doubt they couldn't sell a lower that worked fine.

Looks like a well maintained rifle. I wasn't aware if DD ever made a chrome BCG or the chroming process was done by the user? Keep kickin' cancer's ass.

That's not a bad AR if you want a 20". Not TOP tier, but pretty good. 20" AR's aren't the most popular.

What are you trading for it? AR's are pretty cheap right now. You could build that rifle for about $800. The BCM upper is about $435, a DOD chrome BCG is $205, and a lower, LPK, and some furniture.

As with any gun trade if your happy with the deal than do it. As far as the AR itself goes. if you like the feel and are pleased with the size and balance, get it. I'm a 16" guy myself. ARs have gotten pretty cheap, so don't pay too much. Don't get to hung up on brands. But having said that those are all just fine ones. Should shoot nice

thanks Guys, im trading a boat for the ar, he also has 2 30rd magpul pmags and some ammo with it....

Make the trade. $400 about covers the upper, which in this case is a good one. The Grizzly lower should serve you well enough and if it doesn't, you can part the lower out and buy another without losing any money

Speaking as a former boat owner: TRADE! The fellow has boat fever (it's WAY worse than gun fever, trust me). The boat will make him happy and I most certainly would be VERY happy with that AR.

I say: Go for it!

PS. I assume you are saying you have a $400 dollar boat here and not a Hatteras!

Yes, they have fully chromed BCGs...but I wonder if he meant chrome lined...which all DD bolt carriers are...kind of hard to tell with the dust cover closed.

I just noticed it is a semi-auto cut carrier though.....curious

I've been seriously eying a 20" handguard-less upper from BCM which comes with a free BCG, but I have a 16" middy Daniel Defense handguard-less upper I just bought last year and have yet to assemble into a full AR. I have the fever it seems.

I'd say the gun in the OP is easily worth more than $400

Definitely worth at least $800.00 out here, so double your profit, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I know how the old saying is about a boat, "a hole in the water that keeps requiring more money".

I have always wanted a full sized fixed stock AR, looks like
a nice rifle

As a boat owner, make the trade. Grizzly is a good brand as is DD, and BCM.
