Ok so I have access to some krylon and I've been wanting to customize my ar-15, not something like camo tho I want something unique to me. I want flash and flare not just basic camo.

You think I could do something like this with krylon?

Or would the light colored paint not work well with my black anodized finish ar-15 even if I did a base coat of say, white? I was thinking of having a hydro dipping done of an anime face but I cannot find someone who would produce a hydrographic film unless it was bulk orderd.
(My friend has a large supply of kylon paint for his art school projects)

Faux finishes like that take a lot of practice. The short answer is yes you can. The long answer is practice a great deal.

Ok, I planned to practice a bit before I started on my gun anyways. I plan to do a trial run on my synthetic savage .22 stock.(its a beat up gun anyway) Im still thinking about doing a hydro dipping in red/black sname skin or red and black swirls If I wanted to hydro dip the entire ar-15 what would be the best way to do it? Whole gun or right side and then left side after putting scotchtape on the right to protect it.

Guess ill start practicing soon and figure out which one will be easier/look better

Anyone who has any experience with hydro dipping, can I use paint primer? Or should I buy an extra 12oz of primer?

Also, will sodablasting damage the anodizing on my ar-15? (incase I want to take off the hydro dip) and will break cleaner damage the poly furniture on my gun? (removing krylon)
