Mister, if you want to shoot .50 Beo in a pistol configuration you are a tougher man than I am. As John Wayne would say; "too much gun"...

I'm wondering what kind of modifications would be needed to the gas system to get it to run? Anyway, nope never seen one in a short barrel. I would check with Alexander arms directly. But I'm guessing nobody has been crazy enough to do this.

However I do believe someone is making a revolver in .45-70. The Beowulf many times compared to a hot .45-70 load. Have you looked into this?

In a pistol?!?!?!?! Given the recoil of my AR-15, 5.56 pistol, I suggest perhaps that you first buy a good pair of Velcro shoes to keep you in place. Dang!

Heh. I keep seeing that picture and it still gets me excited every time.

Just imagine the monster hunting potential!

Pretty soon someone is going to quote Johnny Dangerously.

The 50 Beo is very similar to the 500 S&W magnum - not that I want to shoot either from a handgun, but it's doable.

Johnny Dangerously....

It's and .88 magnum...it shoots through schools.....

Well, you asked...I think the whole concept is a little crazy...but hey, I dont have to shoot it.
