Looking for a lightweight fixed stock...will be on a 458 socom...im looking at tge ACE skeleton stock...any other suggestions any why

Not for a .458. The ACE is what I ran on my .50 Beowulf. It's ugly, but it works. Besides, for a .458, I would think that adding some weight might be a good thing.

I know you said "fixed position", but I had a PRS Magpul put on my AR 10. With it being adjustable, I found it very easy to set up to fit me perfectly. Not only for my LOP but also for my cheek weld height. I also think the slight added weight would benefit you greatly by balancing that .458 out a good bit. The skeleton stocks, to me anyway, just don't feel right. Not to mention that if you load any heavy loadings up in that beast, you will be thankful for the larger size of the buttstock end on the PRS. That skeleton stock would flat out hurt with a heavy load from a .458.

Ok...i guess a heavier stock would make more since due to balance...this will be my deer rifle. ..i dont like tbe prs all that welll but i am interest in a magpul ubr...any takes on that

At $225+ I could never justify a UBR myself but they are super cool. Have you thought about a standard A2 stock?

Tube would hold up ..i already have a 223 and if the stock can handle the abuse i could just get an upper
