how would you rank AR quality/desirability by different manufacturers?

E.g., Knights Armament, Colt, Noveske, LMT, Daniel Defense?

Armalite?

Rock River Arms?

Bravo Company Mfg?

Battle Rifles?

Christensen Arms?

Others like Del-Ton, High Standard, DPMS, Bushmaster, Olympic Arms, etc.?

What would be considered top tier? 2nd, 3rd, etc. tier? And why?

Thanks for sharing your expertise/opinion. Appreciate it.

They are all high priced items right now bec of need. The BCM seems to be the top tier of them all.

Ok, I'll bite.

Depends on what your intended philosophy of use is. Range toy, self defense, three gun competition. ?

For "Tier one" I'd say Daniel Defense is good to go on all fronts as far as a milspec type platform. 4150 CMV, 1:7 twist MP tested, cold hammer forged barrel, hammer forged chamber, Crane Spec extractor, MP Tested M16 bolt carrier group with fully shrouded firing pin, milspec buffer tube with staked castle nut, instead of a "commercial" sized buffer tube, Heavy buffer, Flared Magazine Well, etc.

BCM, LMT, LWRC, Colt also lead the pack. Noveske is more of a custom / boutique type gun, very nice, cut / button rifled barrels, billet receiver, Geissele trigger, etc. Don't forget Patriot Ordinance and their Mike Rock ( Rock Creek Barrels ) "hand lapped" machine gun rated barrels / piston gun platforms also with Geissele triggers. There are others as well, Seekins Precision, JP, the list is longer than you think.

Many of the others you listed are really on a similar level with many components made by the same manufacturers. DPMS, Bushmaster, Rock River, Windham, Core15, etc.

Considering the situation right now...GET WHICHEVER YOU CAN FIND & AFFORD.

In an emergency... I would grab whichever was closest to my hands regardless of the roll mark.
