I have the DD one, which was on my M4V1 for a long time. Great piece of kit, bomb proof. Set it, forget it.

Of the 2 you listed, I like the DD one- there is one of these on the rear of mrs FL- NC's AR. Larue makes a nice one as well. Still another one, which I used in the,military- a cut-down flat top carry handle, as shown below. This will give you a co-witness with a RDS (even though you said you don't want one) and rapid adjustment at varying ranges. Once it is cut, the one bolt at the rear will hold it to the upper just fine, and you cut some weight as well. Plus, it wil probably be cheaper than another alternative, since pretty much no one uses detachable carry handles any more. Yes, we cut our carry handles in my unit back before the better flip up irons were available. Yes, the supply sgt lost his mind. No, we didn't care.

I bought a surplus colt carry handle. It attaches really easy and I like all the adjustments. I'm not a huge fan of peep sights but it isn't bad at all.

It's got a large aperture which I assume is for low light/really close combat and a small one for longer distance. You can find them on ebay, just search detachable colt carry handle. Mine is a genuine Colt, and I got it for about $50.

Edit: now I see that you already ordered a sight. My bad.
