Hi guys, I've been actively reading THR for quite some time, but this is my first post. GREAT SITE!!
Anyway, I've got a decent collection now, and I've decided to build an Evil Black Rifle to add to it in preperation for another AWB down the road.
My question is, why have the prices of AR kits seemed to go up so much lately? Maybe I'm crazy, but I believe kits from J&T Distributing, Model 1 Sales, M & A Parts, etc. were around 4 bills when I looked into it last year. Now every decent kit is about $500 and up. Also I've noticed that lower receivers are steadily increasing. Stag, RRA, Double Star, Superior, and a few other lowers could be had for $80-$90 shipped a short while ago, but those are going up too (if you can find them in stock). What gives?
With the price of ammo steadily rising across the board, I'm going broke just trying to shoot what I've already got! :banghead: My .22 is seeing more use all the time...
