I'm looking for a magazine pouch to hold a single AR15 mag on a 1 1/2" belt. Not interested in MOLLE, ALICE, etc. I've got battle rattle. I just want one mag on my belt for a class.

If I'm going to buy it, I want something decent. A $10 might get me through the class, but a $25 might last me several years and several classes.

    Single mag, on the belt.

Everything I've found so far is either MOLLE or multiple mags. If I need multiples, I'm just stripping down my 782 gear and using that.

Well, one mag fits in the left hip pocket of my Jeans real nice.

As long as you don't set on it.

It's actually easier and faster to get too with my old stiff joints then a mag pouch high up on my belt.

Safariland makes a kydex mag holder. It rides high and can be uncomfortable in some positions. I prefer RCModel's method, but it does require relocating copenhagen to another pocket.

I made mine but I were going to buy one I would get a comp tac most likely.

This is mine and the pattern.

Post #3 in this thread are details on how I mold the Kydex.

From the date on that thread I have Kydex pouches and holsters I made more than 16 years ago and have yet to have one break.
