Is the AR-10 and the SR-25 my only choices?

Still haven't decided on those or the HK91. I think I'm sticking with .308 and will probably skip the AR-15 altogether....

Skunk, you know that you want the HK91. You need a HK91.. You can't live without one..

Besides, it will give you a platform to ask more questions over on Hkpro.

Also, imagine a new Tactical Poser picture with a shiny new(or like new) HK91 being Tactically displayed..

Oh, Yeah! :D

The ASA model has a left side charging handle if you want to be different with the AR10 rifles.

Twoblink: Alex at Robarm mentioned a new .308 rifle coming out this summer, but they say it won't be a M96 rifle. They say their m96 can't handle the 7.62.

hey skunk, wait until the next precision shooting comes out. They are doing a very comprehensive review of the DPMS 308. If its reliable enough to constitute a "battle rifle", that would be sweet. Also it's only 975 dollars.

The Stoner SR-25 and Armalite AR-10s I’ve handled are very nose heavy due to the heavy, longer barrels. They have standard AR15 furniture (pistol grip and buttstock) so offhand they’re a little off balance. If you don’t mind a heavy rifle I’d get a lead buttstock insert to balance out the package.
