curiosity is getting the better of me.

in the current Leupold ad for their mark 4 scopes
one sees an 'AR style' rifle strapped to the pack
the lower reads "KMC Stoner Rifle SR-25" and "7.62mm"

i can't find a site which will let me in for knights

what's the scoop? is this a 'LEO only' AR?
is it actually a .308 Win?
if so, how does it differ from/with the AR-10's?

thx

One of the differences between the SR-25 and the AR-10 is about a thousand bucks. If you're serious about getting one, prepare to shell out.

The SR-25, from what research I've been able to do, seems to be a contraversial weapon. It seems that it's had widely varying reviews from end-users in the Special Forces community, with some operators swearing by it and others swearing at it. The contraversy is about it's reliability in the field, I believe, not its accuracy.

The last word I heard on Knights was that if you were not DOD then you shouldn't expect much in the way of customer service.

They sure are pretty. Bet they cost a pretty penny too, compared to the Armalite, DPMS and even Bushmaster .308 rifles. :scrutiny:

i know i am dense, but are these rifles available in 7.62mm AND 5.56mm?

i did not see any 7.62mm at the web site, but yes i did see some expensive guns!
