AR15 beyond belief

I came across a very, very nice AR15 rifle recently, at a new gun store. This one is a Lantac Raven. I cannot figure how any AR15 in 5.56 can command a $3000 price point, especially when the only claim I can find is quality parts.

Anyone here have some direct experience with one of these?

Google shows it to be actually made in Europe with an msrp of 2999.99.

Lantac USA builds them here. The US version of the LA-R15's lower receiver is plainly marked "Made in the USA". The Euro version is marked "Made in the United Kingdom."

I would like one of each, please ...

Not familiar with their full rifles but I've owned their bolt carrier group and it is one solid and beautiful piece. It seems like they build a very high quality product so I'm excited to see if anyone has any experience with them here.
