Ok, I have decided on RRA and Stag. I can get a Stag-15 1H per-ban, detachable handle 16' CL barrle 1:9 for $499 shipped. If I couple that with a kit I get a sling adapter, Stag 6 pos. stock Stag lower parts kit (single stage trigger) and a 30 rnd. mag for $643 shipped. I can get a RRA stipped lower for $144 including shipping and transfer fee bringing the whole kit and kabudle to $787.

Now,or I can go this way. I order the Stag-15 1H for the $499 then get a Rock River Arms AR0990CX Complete Lower Receiver Half, NM Two Stage Trigger and Black 6 Position Tactical CAR Stock for $345 shipped. bringing the whole kit and kabudle to $845

are these good deals for this set up? I'd like to order these but am headed to Las Vegas this week and will be attending the CrossRoads of the West Gun show. Do you think I can find better deals there?

Thanx in advance,
Mike

You can get a complete Stag AR for 800 if you'd rather go that route. But no, that's not a bad deal.

Don't you need something bigger up there in Alaska like a 308 or 300 Win Mag? LOL.

Have been very pleased with my Del-ton midlength kit. Chrome lined with an ACE ARFX stock. Including DPMS lower i have about $650 in it.

+1 on Del-ton. Got a doubleStar stripped lower with the del-ton midlength (with chrome-lining and detach handle) for a bit under 700 bucks. I could have done it for less if I cut back on the non-necessities, too. If chrome-lining is something you won't need (or want), and if you look around for cheaper rear sights, you can get one for about 630 bucks. Nothing else will be as good for the money.
