This past summer I picked up a govt. M16A1 upper. Ive decided to use this as m .22lr upper, but am thinking about running .223 though it. I believe the barrels twist rate is 1:12.
Anybody know how well 55gr. FMJ performs with this twist?
The other upper I have came with the rifle, 16" 1:9 I believe. I plan on sending it in to have a 20" military contour barrel installed later this year.
