I have been trying to find an Arcus 98 dac for my collection. From what I have read, they are a good gun. Why has Century stopped importing them? Is it because of quality control or lack of interest? Anyone know of a distributor who still carries them?

You just missed out. Bud's had them for $315 about 2 weeks ago. I checked the other day and they were gone.

Southern Ohio Gun has them listed but says call for availability.

Personally I'd look for an Arcus 94. They are a hi-power clone. I use to have a 94 and a lot of browning hi-power parts fit it. Now with the Arcus 98 it is a one of a kind pistol. Being that Century Arms is the importer good luck getting parts. I just sold a Canik TP9SF because Century wouldn't even sell me a recoil spring.

Thanks Kiln, I'll look at SOG. Railroader, I'm looking at the 98 because I want a double action that will take BHP mags. I'm not opposed to a 94, if I found a good one I would buy it. My dad always said to buy two of each gun, one to use and one for parts & I lucked into a a good gun smith a few years back. He is a great machinist, so, I don't worry too much about parts.

I have a Arcus 98 SA/DA with beaver tail that take BHP mags but I heard current 98 does not take standard BHP mag, or only certain version of 98 takes. 98DAO? Better check before you buy, don't want to end up with a unique mag that only available from Century while Century is not known for parts and spares.
