I'm finding product for rifles but not these 2 pistol calibers for reloading. The factory ammo is very expensive.
I went to the Hornady site, Reloading, handgun, bullets and filtered for FTX in 9mm. No product listed. It seems they don’t sell them as a component.I'm finding product for rifles but not these 2 pistol calibers for reloading. The factory ammo is very expensive.
I think the .355 FTX (fixed it) are for rifles like the 350 legend. I don't recall seeing the ftx in my new hornady book for 9mm.
Yep, XTPs are readily available at most reloading vendors. .355" is the correct diameter for 9mm jacketed bullets. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Hornady+XTP+bullets+for+sale&atb=v314-1&t=chromentp&ia=web
Hornady did not take dyslexia into account when naming their bullets. I saw XTP too. The OP is asking about FTX bullets.
165 gr… looks like a rifle bullet.OOPS! Not aixelsyd, just old. But same method of finding bullets for sale; https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Hornady+FTX+bullets+for+reloading+for+s
Checked Midway first, found 9mm/.355: bullets in 45 seconds.
.350Legend. It would be a chore to get that working in a 9mm pistol without doing damage.OOPS! Not aixelsyd, just old. But same method of finding bullets for sale; https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Hornady+FTX+bullets+for+reloading+for+s

Is that .452 or .458....No FTX for most pistol calibers including 9 & 40. Midway lists rifle bullets. I saw .45 cal though.

So one is colt and the other is 45-70 both classic leverguns. I asked as I don't believe they make any for a semi...Both. The .452 bullets are 200gr and 250gr and look to have a cannelure, so I would assume they are made for 45 Colt.
