I've noticed no difference in Norma brass from my other brands of 10mm brass, other than the fact that it splits sooner than some of the others when I size it to make 9x25 Dillon brass. My Norma brass in this caliber is all new, unfired, but is probably 20 years old.
I haven't used it in any of my 10mm handguns, as I have plenty of Federal, Winchester, Remington and PMC brass for that.
The asterisk only means that the loads listed with it were with Norma brass, and those without it were with Winchester brass. Loading data is normally displayed with the components used to work up the load, so that's what they did.
