Archangel mentioned selling the brass to reloaders.
I used to and did very well but.....
As of late brass is so plentiful not worth it. My recylcer pays Just shy of $2.00 a pound 1k of 223 goes for $50.00 that's about scrap price.
Yeah it kills me to trash it but I can only store so many buckets.
I keep all the hard to find and quality brass.
So started again and got a few buckets in a year or two if brass is still plentiful I can get another $411.00
