Have a p-90 and it has been the most reliable accurate centerfire auto loader that i have ever owned. That includes springfield and colt 1911's and s&w 645 and 4506.
Plan on picking up a p89 soon just to have a high cap 9mm around and also have another pistol to share the same leather as the p90.
As far as politics, I would rather live in the here and now. Bill Ruger is deceased. The Ruger family from what I understand no longer has any control over the company.
To penalize and hold the Ruger company liable for Bill Ruger's actions today would amount to the same thing as holding a son acountable for the sins of the father.
To me S&W committed a bigger sin by getting in bed with the Clinton's and their brand of gun conrol. The public made their dis-satisfaction known and buycotted S&W almost to the point of colapse. S&W in turn was sold to new owners and the sins were for the most part forgiven by the masses. Should S&W still be punished for the sins of the previous owners? If so then I guess T/C should be punished as well since Smith owns them. Or perhaps punish Walther for partnering up with S&W.
Today's Ruger Firearms Company is not under anyone's control in the Ruger family. The Ruger family from what I understand no longer control the majority of stock shares either. And even if they did, why punish the family and company for something Bill Ruger did?
To hold the Ruger company acountable today is Stalin and Hitler tactics of the past----kill an entire family or village for the sins of one person.
