A while back my father-in-law asked me about a handgun to get for concealed carry. I, along with one of his gun-savvy friends, suggested a snubnose revolver, a SW 642 or 649 etc. Well, low and behold I go to his house the other day and like an excited schoolgirl he rushes me to his safe and pulls out...AN ACCU TEK? I was quite shocked. This is a man who does well for himself and he easily could have afforded a custom Nighthawk. I really couldn't say anything. Ok, I thought, maybe it's one of those that people swear by. After doing some research I have found that it's bemoaned quite alot. I don't have the heart to tell him but if he's trusting his life to it I feel I have an obligation to let him know if the gun is junk. So if you have/had an Accu Tek please tell me your stories, good or bad. Thanks.
