I just want to say Nighthawk cant be topped . Dont argue with me its not going to do any good . Lets look at facts . Do you get your moneys worth thru ANY other purchase ? 1 inch gaurantee accuracy , lifetime warranty , PERFECT fit and finish , customer service ABOVE par , and a company that is backed by men that are consumed with crafting the best 1911 on the market today . Mike is deadset on building the best . He understands that second best ***** , it means your the first loser .
I said all of this just because of my past experiances with a lot of the other guys .
You are going to have problems arise no matter how good you are at building a 1911 but its how you take care of that problem that stands you apart . Nighthawk excells at this .
I have a Predator III that is a 1" gun at 25 yds. all day any day , and yes I have a couple of other guns that will do the same . When I have had problems with the other guns , sure they were fixed after a little arguing and an expense to me thru shipping both ways .
The small problem that arose with my Nighthawk was that the slide stop notch and take down notch were getting a little pinged , and it was something that bothered me . I called Mike and told him that I dindt want to be comeing off as being too picky . His exact words were your OUR customer and you are concerned so send it to me at our expense and it will be taken care of . He didnt try to give me any excuses , he didnt try to tell me that was normal for a 1911 ( which I know isnt ) . He wants to fix the problem not point fingers .

NIGHTHAWK has a customer and a friend for life . These guys treat you like family .

CALL Nighthawk and tell them to keep up the work . Support them with your patronage

Do all of their guns come with the one inch gaurantee, or is it just certain models? Can their 4 inch guns be as accurate as their 5 inch guns?

I don't know about Nighthawk's guarantee, but RRA's Pro Carry model is guaranteed to shoot 2.5 inch groups at 50 yards, minimum. So if that is what you want in a compact 1911, it is out there.

I like my Talon, it's very well made - shown here with my YOBO Colt 70 Series 1* Enhanced - but $2,300 is pretty rare air for any piece - not sure I'd ever drop that much coin on a pistol again.

I have a $450 Springfield GI .45 that will shoot just about as well as the NHC or YOBO...and as you can see from the Nighthawk test target - that ain't bad...

Well, I don't know what my guns can do, cause I can't shoot that good.

They can hit a 1 gallon paint can at 100 yards pretty regular. :)
A coke can once in a couple of clips or so. :)

I suspect I could not hit them any more consistently with the most accurate gun in town. It is nice to know the gun can do it though. Just makes us fell all good inside.

Baer will guarantee 1.5" but there's one little detail - it's at 50 yards. Most of that class of guns exhibit high levels of accuracy, quality, service and price. Pick your poison.
