I recently purchased some online bulk 9mm once fired cases and have come across several with the following markings on the base: WCC 11 and a plus sign in a circle. Others have WCC 07 with the plus sign, and some are WCC 10 with the circle/plus sign. Nowhere is 9mm Luger mentioned. Are these 9mm Luger. I plan to break out my caliper and check these as well but thought I'd ask here first. Thanks!

WCC refers to Western Cartridge Company, with the following number noting production year. The circle/plus sign denotes NATO spec ammo.

The only issue you may have with this ammo is possibly crimped primer pockets.

Not only are they 9mm (9x19) cases, but they are also some of the better 9mm cases. I prefer them when loading up near the top of the data.

Hope this helps.

I just got about 110 of these off the range the other day. Someone left them in front of the firing line, and when I showed up it was empty so I cleaned all the brass.

Mine were all crimped, so I decapped them and then removed the crimp groove. I then tumble and toss them into the rest of my brass. However, I did not know those were crimped originally and have maybe 50 or so mixed into my normal brass which I have to decrimp as I am loading as they give me **** putting in the primers.

Good brass though otherwise!

You're probably talking like what? a couple out of every 100 casings. I chuck all mil 9mm brass. Not worth the effort when I have thousands of Winchester, R-P, Fed, etc. etc. to use.

All the mil crimp 9mm brass I find goes into the recycyling bucket. Some day I will fill it up and gladly get $200 or so for more powder/primers/bullets.

I did a search on the primer crimp issue and decided that it's not for me. Thanks for all the replies.
