Arex Delta

I don't have a first hand experience with the Arex Rex Delta but I made alot of research about this pistol because some months ago I decided to buy another 9mm and the Rex Delta was a serious contender.
I ended up purchasing a Grand Power Q100 because it was totally different from the other pistols I have and I was more interested on it (no regrets of any kind with the Q100, it's awesome).
But what I learned about the Rex Delta is that is a very well made pistol.
It's of the same size of a Glock 19.
It's fully ambi from the factory.
Two magazines, one 15 rounds, one 17 rounds.
Three or four backstraps.
Nice steel sights.
Pretty decent trigger with a short reset.
Loaded striker indicator and loaded chamber indicator.
Very fast disassembly procedure without the need of pulling the trigger.
Intrenal extractor just like the Springfield Armory XD and low profile magazine buttons.
Accurate and very nice finished.
All the reviews I watched on youtube seem to consider the Rex Delta pretty high on the compact polymer striker fired selection of pistols.

I have one. I think it is a great gun that shoots well and is very reliable. It has great potential as a carry guns. The downside to me is aftermarket support is minimal. Not many holsters available and I am not sure what to choose for replacement sights which I usually do these days. The booth guy at their last NRA show mentioned the sights were supposed to follow someone else's pattern, but I don't recall who.

If you are just stashing it in a pouch, I don't see any problem.

For the money they go for you should be able to find a Beretta APX for less or a CZ P10C for about the same. Check into their warranty support too for Arex, if they pay any shipping for warranty support on a new gun, and parts availability. Not very many of them around and too short of a time period to say if they will be good gun for the long haul or not.

Buds has them in stock right now when they have very little else in stock. I wonder if that’s just because they’re an unfamiliar brand or because people aren’t liking them.

All the reviews I’ve seen have been good.

I’ve not seen the CZ that cheap, but I have seen the APX. If I wanted a non-Glock striker gun (I don’t) I would look hard at the Beretta.

Thank you all for comments and info. I'm not sure if I want another striker fired gun. The Apex looked like a good deal if it works. I'd much prefer a gen 3 915 Smith with traditional DA. Anything like that is now really spendy. There's probably 5 gun shops around here and a Cabelas 10 mins. away. They're all picked clean. GS this weekend so maybe I'll get lucky.

Thanks, Jim

I bought one of these today. I'm impressed by the feel of it. The owner's manual says there's a limited lifetime warranty. It has a steel recoil guide rod and captured spring. The owner's manual says it is drop safe and rated for 50,000 rounds use.
I'm not sure when I will be able to get out to the range but I have high hopes for this. I got it NIB at a local shop for $349.

I know the OP said he wanted 9mm but in this price range a decent used .40S&W service pistol might be a better deal. When I was back in CO I used to check out the gun libraries at the 2 local Cabelas in Thornton and Lone Tree and the deal I remember was a Walther P99 AS in forty that had been barely used. Asking price was @$350 and that is one that I sure should have jumped on, I definitely would have bought it if it were a nine. Although I did take the deal for my BHP MKII at the Lone Tree store.

OBTW, check out this deal for Glock 22 LEO turn-ins from AIM Surplus;
