I'm eyeing the Argentine hi-powers that recently came in country, are these 100% percent parts compatable with other hi-powers? A bud was telling me that FN sold them the tooling back in the day, just wanted to make sure they hadn't made any drastic changes. I see J&G and SOG has them, anyone else carrying them? Anyone have any feedback on the general condition (exterior and interior)....is a hand pick fee or higher price going to be worth it (J&G has the higher grade at a higher price and I think SOG's hand pick just covers picking the best of the first 5 they look at)?

They are genuine P35 pattern pistols. All parts should interchange (within reason - these vintage guns have a certain percentage of 'hand fitted' parts).

As a military design, they are cosmetically adequate. You won't find any lustrous deep blued jobs among them.

I have one and love it. It did not come in this import though. I would recommend purchasing from J&G over SOG. J&G are great folks to deal with.

My experience with SOG has been so bad that I quit dealing with them. Everything was at least one grade worse than advertised; even tried handpick. They take the same import from Century and label them as a higher grade. They sent me several surplus rifles out of headspace on a field guage. They do have a very good return policy, but it just wasn't worth my time. There are just so many honest companies that you can deal with.
