Arkansas Medical Marijuana Change 8/1/2023

I don't see the Federal law passing the C
constitutionality test. Although THC can be detected in the hair and fat cells for weeks to months after usage, the effects of THC last no longer than most other prescription drugs. THC has similar effects OR effects to a much greater degree for a simular or greater duration than THC, yet those prescription drugs do not bar a person from buying a firearm or receiving a carry permit. Furthermore, opioid and other common prescription drugs are illegal federally, but as far as I know, pain killers that are commonly issued by doctors all over the country not bar citizens from constitution rights.

As far as the ATF and federal law is concerned, I personally wouldn't worry about them coming after or targeting those who have medical conditions that were verified by a doctor who legally obtained firearms and permits per their state law. YMMV, but I wouldn't care.

How many doctors and citizens who have been issued medical MJ cards has the ATF, FBI, and DOJ gone after thus far in states that have legalized medical MJ?

Also note, there are court cases, IIRC, moving through the 5th, 10th, and 11th Federal Appeals Court on the topic along with many Democrats "suddenly" 🙄 softening their stance on gun rights and drug use after the President's son was charged....
