I've been looking around a bit and I'm now considering an Armalite upper as well as a Fulton Armory upper for my new Bushy lower.

The upper I'm looking at is the Armalite M15 A4T, which is the fiberglass free floated HG 24" SS barreled upper.

Anyone have one of these? One of my concerns is about the durability of the the fiberglass handguard.

The best price I've seen ...well actually only place I can find that sells them is Quantico Arms. I'm looking at $600 for a complete upper.

Are the Armalite uppers worth the price and how accurate are they? Also, will they mate to any standard lower? For some reason I remember an Armalite product having a slightly different upper and lower. Perhaps that was with the AR10 series.

Thanks!

Nice group! Hopefully at 100meters...:D

I considered the 16" version but decided I wanted the extra velocity the 24" version offers. If in fact I do get this one I'll consider cutting it to 22".

Good Shooting

Thanks,
That was shot at a 100 yards using Nosler Ballistic Tips over 25.1 grains of 4895. The Armalite is a sweet shooting little rifle if I dont get to excited and dont look in the spotting scope before I'm done . :)

Armalite is excellent. Their T line is extremely accurate. It is a match rifle, and the handguard will stand up to normal shooting, but it's not designed to the same standards as the standard handguard.
