What makes it even more grating is that they're probably using stimulus money that came out of our pockets!

The buybacks are supposedly "no questions asked." I don't know about NC, but the guns shows around here (NY State) are chock-full of state troopers who like to ask a lot of questions that meth head grandson probably doesn't have good answers for.

That is NY State. The gun shows in USA are a lot different. I go to gun shows in PA and I will tell you, no one's asking questions besides "how much?" I have had sellers there continue to try and sell me 30rd mags, brass knuckles, stun guns, butterfly knives etc. after me telling them "no thanks I'm from NJ" and not a damn soul isn't aware that's all illegal here. The only (uniformed) cops I've seen are at the door.

I'm a gun owner and NRA member, I'm damn proud, but I am sad to sad that unfortunately, not all within our "community" are upstanding, law-abiding folks.

At least take any money made from selling a gun to a gun buy back and donate it to NRA-ILA.
