I'm on a 6.5 Grendel based forum on FB and in my experience and many others on that page, is that with a 123gr bullet the GO TO powder for accuracy is IMR 8208 XBR. Several guys on the page all are using 27-27.5gr of 8208 and accuracy has been good for several different people. In fact it's one of the top "pet loads" on the FB group for guys that want an accurate load easily with no fuss and no muss.

Right on both counts. RF uses MBA-1's on their rifles but when I built my lower I used an MBA-3. After all the fixin's I still came in a couple $100 below RF's price for the complete rifle. Trigger is an SST 3.5 lb and it breaks nicely. The rifle is a joy to shoot (just ask my son).

My plan is to swap the standard A2 stock on the LR 308 with a Luth-AR MBA-1.
