I just purchased an Armi San Marcos Walker with a 4 digit serial number. I did not purchase it from the original owner and there is no box or documentation. I searched for any sort of data that may give me a general feel for when this firearm was produced. Does anyone have a general feel for how many of these were produced? If anyone has one they purchased new with a particular serial number we may be able to interpolate an approximate date of manufacture.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you Sltm 1. ASM 1986. I guess my Walker was relatively early in their production run.

That's a GOOD thing.Back then they were very high quality.Near the end they were makeing up guns out of formerly rejected guns just to fill their last orders,or that's the rumor, anyways.I have a long barreled 1873 in .45 Colt,ASM, that's one of the nicer handguns I own.
