Hello

I just ordered my first ar15.
DANIEL DEFENSE M4 CARBINE, V5

I want to replace the butt stock, pistol grip, add some sights.
I want to do a fde/black build.

I like the stock daniel defense sells,
https://danieldefense.com/furniture...ol-grip-vertical-foregrip-combo-mil-spec.html

but it seems darker then other fde accessories I see, such as these hand guards daniel defense sells,
https://danieldefense.com/components-parts/rail-ladders/rail-ladders.html

Any idea if they would be same color and its just the lighting?

Also need help deciding on sights,
such as fixed sights from daniel defense,
https://danieldefense.com/components-parts/sights.html
or some fde popup sights from troy or magpul?

I also purchased Aimpoint Pro Patrol Rifle red dot scope, thoughts on that vs eotech 552 or xds3?

You're over thinking it. Get the accessories you want in approximately the color you want and don't worry if they match exactly or not. It's better to have a mismatch of furniture color than it is to have a stock, handguards or grip you dislike. If the color mismatch still bothers your CDO, use paint.

You're not gonna get anything much better than an Aimpoint Pro for sights

The linked buttstock isn't FDE. So it won't match any FDE stuff.

In general fixed sights are more robust, and flip-ups are more for back up when running an optic. Since you have an optic, I'd go with flip-ups.

Yea I just seen it says its "mil spec+"
would that be more of a coyote brown, or is that actually a custom color?

If i cant find rail covers to match it Ill just buy the stockset in black but was hoping to match that color

Its a military rifle, not a Barbie. Get what feels good/comfortable/quality and worry less about the color coordination of its outfit... ;)

DD fixed sights are the best available. However, if running an optic, you will likely end up wanting folders.

For a stock, I heartily recommend MFT Minimalist. Does everything a stock needs to do without the weight.

My olive green paint is rubbing off in places, adds character. Also easy to re-apply.

Those are not the same color.

Kind of my thoughts. Since you already own the red dot, I'd use it for a while.
