I did a little searching but the write ups I found for filling out an eform 1 are talking about filling one out for an SBR. I'm working on filling one out to make a .22 suppressor and have a few questions.

1. When adding a line item I am listing my trust as the manufacture because I am the one making it, but when I do it gives a prompt that this is an unknown manufacture. It ends up giving me three warnings; unknown item, unknown model and unknown manufacture. Am I doing something wrong, or is this normal for filling out a form 1? My trust already has an approved SBR stamp and suppressor stamp from paper form 1 and form 4. Should my trust show up when I enter it in as the manufacture?

2. Electronic documents: What documents do I need to upload? I know at a minimum I need to upload a copy of my trust, what else do I need? Do I need to have a drawing of my planned suppressor design?

Anything else I should keep in mind while filling it out?

Thanks in advance!

I have done eForms for a SBR but have only read about doing it for silencers. I will be doing it soon. From what I have read the part about being an unknown manufacturer is normal when making a silencer yourself and that within a couple of days you will get a follow up email stating that your designated manufacturer has been accepted as valid (or words to that effect.)

When I did it for my two SBRs I uploaded a copy of my trust and my Schedule A of NFA items. Both were approved and I had different examiners for each. You do not have to submit drawings of your proposed design.

1) yup, that is normal. It will update in a few day

2) just the trust documentation

Thanks for the responses, I actually found out that for making a suppressor or sbr from an 80% lower where there is no original manufacture to put "FMI" which correlates to 'Form 1 Registration'

I'll be submitting my Form 1 soon, hoping the wait times are still fairly low.
