I am an FFL holder and havent received any memos, emails or faxes about this. Usually they will mail out a memo with any new tidbits about stripping our rights away. I would call this number and ask what the deal is
404-417-2750 This is the licensing center and they can answer your quesitons.

My understanding was IIRC, that it is assumed that I would be carrying it onto campus and the FFL cannot sell to someone that they "know" is going to commit a crime.

Let me guess, Army Navy Pawn in Starkville?

Mr. Lee is pretty nice, but he is a bit overzealous in the gun stuff.

Eitherway, you need to use your permanent legal address for this sort of thing. And FWIW, DON'T get advice from gun dealers; they only have to know what keeps them out of trouble.

You are either psychic or you also know the only place in town selling Mosins. Yeah, he is a bit over the top, but he did knock ten bucks and tax off the price. It shoots great and my shooting buddy (you know who he is) liked it too to the point where he went back and got one for himself. I got a 1940 Izzy and he got a 1939 Tula.

How'd the bores look by chance?

I may go look....or just finish my C&R forms and go that route. Either way, getting to see the product first is nice.

To be fair Dewese has a mosin.

I think they sold it. It was all raggedy with a mismatched bolt and a sawed up stock. The bore on mine was new. The other one was excellent.

Yeah, I got a 99.99% M44 there a year ago...sadly I let it go as I got tired the mosins I had.

Dude..you're 20... finish up school, then start playing with guns...Plenty of time.

Sorry Guy - You lost me here . In my day there was a little thing called the draft, and a little conflict where some of my friends died serving their country before they were 20 years old. I don't consider, or treat , or speak to 20 year olds as if they are children.
