ATF Opens Comments To Public For Changes to Form 1 (make and register)

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives released a 60-day notice on Wednesday requesting comments on a proposed change to its Application to Make and Register a Firearm, Form Number: ATF F 1 (5320.1). The notice is published in the Federal Register for Monday, July 22

The changes to the form are to allow applicants to pay the transfer tax by credit or debit card, combine information currently captured on another form, and the form size is now 8.5x14"

That seems pretty harmless except no more printing it out yourself (unless you happen to have long paper). Anyone have a link to the actual new form?

Any idea if this is when they will implement the speculated change to remove the LEO sign-off but require fingerprints and photos for everyone on a trust?

If doing a trust you might want to speed it up and get it in the mail in the next month or so, or if as individual, might be simpler to wait for the LEO sign-off to go away with the new forms.
