Several months ago I purchased one of these from CDNN Sports. (It is a Turk made MKEK Yavuz 16, Beretta 92F Clone). I really, really like this pistol. I recently noticed that CDNN has taken them off of their website.

Kinda saddens me as there will be no more coming in. This is a Turk made pistol originally imported by ATI. It appears that CDNN bought all that ATI had left, and as of a few months ago were down to only a couple a hundred left. (I should have bought two)

Man...for $299 + $20 S/H and a $10 ffl, and you get a new "Beretta" 92F with steel guide rod and trigger!! Really hard to go wrong here.

Anyone else have one of these and lament the passing of a truly quality pistol at a great price from our shores?

If Beretta will allow it, someone else needs to import these pistols. Just my opinion.

Excellent guns.

I bought 4.

A friend bought 2.

Another friend bought 2. Friend's brother bought 1.

A man and wife put one on law-a-way. I invited them to my place to shoot one of my ATI 92C to show them the gun they were getting.

Another lady that shot mine immediately went to the local gun store and bought one.

A lady that I'm helping with her shooting is looking everywhere for one. Saturday she used one of my ATI 92C for her concealed carry qualification. She shot 246/250.
She wants one bad but can't find one anywhere. I will probably sell her the one she used Saturday.

The ATI 92C has been the local gun store's best seller. Last week the manager tried to order 3 more but was told the price has gone up, but that didn't matter anyhow because no more were available.

I knew I should have bought 5.:(

One thing. Keep an eye on the extractor pin. ATI doesn't stake the pin in like Beretta and I had one back out (start to come out the top of the slide).

Also, the inexpensive GI magazines function fine in the ATI but the slide won't lock back after the last round. The GI follower doesn't push the slide catch up far enough. Not a big thing considering new GI mags can be found for $10.:)

You have a source for these? I recently got a Beretta 92FS and wouldn't mind picking up a few extra mags.

Anyways, back to the ATI. From my understanding the source company didn't actually stop making them - ATI just lost their import deal. You may see the gun show up again under a different importer's name.

If they were still available before I'd gotten my Beretta I probably would have gotten one. Heard nothing but good things about them. On the plus side too from my understanding they are pretty much 100% clones, so from a parts availability standpoint since you can swap in Beretta parts you should never have any trouble there.

I usually buy them at the gun shows from the big magazine dealers. Mostly $15 still in the government sealed wrappers. Once in a while a dealer will have them for $10 and I'll buy more, like the last show.I like to have a lot of magazines.:)

This is true.
First chance I get I'm going to try my Beretta slide catch in the ATI to see if it works with the GI magazines. If so I'll replace the ATI slide catches with Beretta.

The local gun store has a Turkish CZ 75 Compact copy that is obviously a "ATI" but not called ATI.
I've also seen Turkish "Winchester" shotguns and other very good looking Turkish guns.
The Turks seem to have a 1st class arms industry.

I looked at these a few times. I am a Beretta 92 nut with 9 of them. I just couldn't make myself buy a clone, though. But, glad that they work so well for you
