ATI/Magpul Compatibility

I owe a Mossberg 590A1 shotgun, which came standard with an ATI 6-position stock and pistol grip.

I have been looking into swapping out the stock and the grip with Magpul MOE versions. However, I am unsure of whether the ATI stock tube is mil-spec of com-spec, and I do not know if the MOE grip will fit at all.

Any tips? Photos would be welcome too. Thanks!

If you have a caliper, or are handy with a ruler, try this.

I'd imagine that stock is compatible with all AR grips.

ATI rifle stocks are at the very least simple and serviceable.

yes....the rifle stuff is FAR superior to the shotgun stuff. I've honestly seen a negative aspect of almost every feature/design aspect on the shotgun stuff. It's almost weird how they could get all of it so wrong.

That's why I want to swap out the grip and stock now... When the stock adapter also goes, I'm switching in a Mesa Tactical unit.
