I want to make my Mossberg 500 so my wife can pump the action without dropping the stock under her armpit. She hates the tactical look and won't play if I dress it up with an M4 stock. I also want to be able to shoot it comfortably. I found the ATI adjustable hunting shotgun stock here:

It looks like a great idea, but does anybody have one?

I only found one post where somebody claimed to have one. It was at this website:

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2009/09/30/ati-adjustable-shotgun-hunting-stock/

It was an unfavorable comment, but I'm not too sure what he was talking about. I think it might be a reference to the grip section of the stock, but it doesn't look that different from the other Monte Carlo stocks I've seen.

Any comments from anyone with knowledge of this system would be much appreciated.

***Nevermind, I jumped the gun a bit, mine is the M-4 style, not the one on the link provided.***

I have one on my Mav 88. I felt the LOP on the standard stock was a bit too long for me, way too long for my wife. With the ATI adjustable, the LOP is just fine for a HD setup, and I can alter it for a better fit for trap/ skeet/ hunting applications. Felt recoil increased, however, and that is the only thing remotely negative I can say about it.
